Kitten Rescue is a no kill organization, whose mission is to stop the killing of homeless animals in Los Angeles.  Here is how we make a difference for the animals of Los Angeles and how the money that you raise will be put to use:

  • Rescue, rehabilitate and place over 1000 cats and dogs yearly, through our network of foster homes

  • House up to 150 special needs cats at our Homeless Cat Sanctuary

  • Care for up to 50 orphaned kittens at any give time at the Kitten Rescue Nursery

  • Transport 500 cats and kittens to rescue partners in other parts of the country

  • Provide safety net for all of our adopted cats through our lifetime return policy

  • Help members of the community to save animals through our Community Foster Program

  • Provide medical care for animals with expensive medical needs due to injuries through our Hope Fund

  • Save feral cats from euthanasia and place them as working cats, through our Cats On Pawtrol program

Every animal that we place receives the highest quality veterinary care before adoption. All animals are treated for any injuries, parasites or diseases before adoption and every cat is spayed or neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, fully vaccinated and microchipped before going to their forever home. All homes are carefully screened and our lifetime return policy ensures that our cats will never end up in a shelter.
